These are pictures of various Kansas trails showing the name of the trail, its location, and in parenthesis the organization responsible for development and maintenance. It is worth noting that trails developed by governmental entities are eligible for federal funding, while private groups are not. Recipients of federal funding are also subject to numerous regulations and guide lines that may not always be pertinent to a situation. Federal funding may provide more money; but it will also provide more things upon which to spend it.
