Rail-Trails in the Sunflower Sate
Imagine a statewide recreational trails system crisscrossing
Kansas' abundant rolling prairies, farmlands and forested hills.
Picture a network of recreational trails connecting dozens of
Kansas communities, generating economic activity, and bolstering
property values.
Recreational trails provide opportunities for all Kansans to
participate safely in healthy outdoor activities such as
walking, bicycling, running, horseback riding and roller-balding
and are used as well by families with strollers and individuals
with wheelchairs.
Help expand Kansas outdoor recreation opportunities by making an
inter-connected trails system in Kansas a reality. Please
